THE
Bonesetter
The role of the bonesetter: tradition and manual know-how
The bone-setter is a traditional practitioner recognized for centuries for his ability to relieve certain physical pains through precise and natural gestures. His expertise, passed down from generation to generation, is essentially based on the art of "putting things back in place," easing muscular tension, releasing blockages, and promoting mobility.
The word "rebouter" comes from Old French and means "to restore." The bone-setter therefore intervenes on physical discomfort linked to a false movement, a minor sprain, a contracture or even an unbalanced posture.
Do not confuse: Bonesetter and magnetizer which are two different approaches
It is important to clearly distinguish between the bonesetter and the magnetizer, because these two practices are often confused:
The bonesetter works with his hands in a mechanical and functional manner: he performs manipulations, pressures and mobilizations to relieve muscles and joints. His approach is manual and physical.
The magnetizer, for his part, acts in an energetic approach, working on the body's flows and vibrational fields. His approach is based on the feeling and transmission of energy.
Thus, the bonesetter is not a magnetizer : his intervention is concrete, based on technical and palpable gestures, aimed at relaxing, putting back in place and relieving.
A practice complementary to medicine
The bonesetter does not replace medical monitoring.
❌ It does not make a medical diagnosis
❌ He does not prescribe treatment
✔️ It acts as a complement to promote well-being and support the body in its natural rebalancing process.
